About me

I am professor of Pain Management and Palliative Care, Anesthesiology and Epidemiology methods at the Universidad del Cauca, in Popayán, Colombia. Also, I am part of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Center and Cochrane Colombia Affiliated Center from the Health Sciences Faculty.

My research interests include epidemiological, statistical and EBM methods to improve clinical research and practice, perioperative safety and anesthesiology topics and end-of-life and palliative care. Currently I am part of a great collaboration investigating the perceptions at the end-of-life by patients, physicians and caregivers in Colombia called Colibrí Project.
